Project Manager | Industrial Environmental Construction Job Description We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support industrial environmental EPC projects throughout the Western U.S. The successful candidate will initially support a high-profile industrial restart project in Southern California before transitioning into broader West Coast EPC growth opportunities. The Project Manager will oversee project financials, contracts, subcontractor management, risk management, change management, client communication, and business development efforts, while partnering closely with Construction Managers and engineering teams. Responsibilities + Manage project budgets, contracts, invoices, and forecasts. + Oversee subcontractors and vendor relationships. + Manage project risk, change orders, and procurement activities. + Coordinate project teams and client communications. + Support business development and regional growth initiatives. + Lead project execution from planning through completion. + Utilize Microsoft Project and Autodesk Construction Cloud. + Partner with Construction Managers to ensure successful field execution. + Negotiate contracts, subcontractor agreements, and change orders. + Develop staffing plans and resource forecasts. + Ensure successful project delivery, safety performance, and client satisfaction. Essential Skills + Industrial Construction Project Management + Environmental Remediation/Groundwater Treatment/Industrial Environmental Projects + Contract Administration + Change Management + Procurement & Subcontractor Management + Project Financial Ownership + Client-Facing Experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + 10-15 years of project management experience. + Experience supporting industrial environmental, remediation, refinery, petrochemical, treatment plant, or heavy industrial projects. + Experience working in a General Contractor environment preferred. + Strong knowledge of project financials and contract administration. + Experience managing projects exceeding $1M. + Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. + Must be open to regional travel throughout the Western U.S. + OSHA 30 and OSHA 40/HAZWOPER certifications preferred. Work Environment This role operates within an industrial manufacturing facility, focusing on environmental remediation and restart projects. It involves a combination of field presence and project management responsibilities, primarily located in Garden Grove, CA. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Orange County/Los Angeles market, with daily site presence expected. The work environment includes daily interactions with contractors, engineers, and operations personnel, requiring professional construction attire. Initially, the role requires daily onsite presence in Garden Grove, shadowing an existing Project Manager, transitioning to 60% home base and 40% travel throughout CA, WA, UT, and CO as projects arise. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westminster, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $67.00 - $86.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
