Medical Assistant

Job: OB Gyn practice - Medical Assistant

• Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, and record patients' histories.
• Prepare equipment and examination rooms and clean instruments.
• Assist Providers with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies. 
• Perform data entry.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant certification program is preferred.
• OB Gyn experience preferred.
• Athena experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner at all times.
• Must be detailed oriented and organized. 
• A firm grasp of medical practices, and organizational policies.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times. 

Compensation: Pay based on experience.
