Qualifications

• State License License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
• Certifications PALS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for PALS (AHA).
• Certifications NRP. Willing to obtain allowed for NRP.
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Neonatal ICU (NICU) in last 3 years.
• Travel Experience 6 weeks of travel experience within the last 1 year.
• EMR Epic
• Skills Assessment NEI skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• Additional Confirmations I have submitted all time off requests. I am aware that I cannot make additional requests after submission.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with administration of blood and blood products, anti-seizure medications, antibiotics/antivirals, IV vasopressors, and steroids is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with arterial line management, central line blood draw, central line/implanted line care, umbilical artery catheter (UAC), and umbilical vein catheter (UVC) is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to assist with lumbar punctures and perform phlebotomy is required.
• Additional Confirmations Blood glucose monitoring is required.
• Additional Confirmations Breastfeeding support and handling of breast milk is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with Bubble CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), oxygen delivery systems, Vapotherm, and ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP) is required.
• Additional Confirmations Colostomy/ileostomy management and care experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Developmental care experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with bottle, breast, and gavage feedings is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in isolation precautions and PPE is required.
• Additional Confirmations Management of chest tubes experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, neonatal dosage calculations, respiratory distress syndrome, seizure disorders, and sepsis work up is required.
• Additional Confirmations Patient and family teaching experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Phototherapy experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with placement and management of oral, nasogastric, and nasojejunal tubes is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to start and maintain IVs is required.
• Additional Confirmations ETT and NT suctioning experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Thermoregulation experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Tracheostomy care and management experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ventricular Peritoneal (VP) Shunts experience is required.
• COVID Vaccine 1 booster required.
• Travel Contract Must travel at least 75.0 miles to receive a travel stipend. Local candidates are eligible, but the pay package may adjust the rate by a few dollars per hour, will not contain a travel stipend, and will be entirely taxable.
• Requested Time Off Up to 7 days of time off can be requested.
