Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Las Cruces, NM

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift: 07:00-19:00, with weekend hours every other week as needed.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit. The RN will provide quality care to patients of all ages while ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and maintaining high standards of practice. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, including telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatment per physician orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop effective care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EHR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico.
• ACLS, BLS, HWC, and NIH certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry setting.
