Clinical Pharmacist

Role Seeking a Float Clinical Pharmacist to provide diverse clinical pharmacy services across multiple practice areas, primarily supporting the Institute of Health and unit-based care. Responsibilities Manage workflow and oversee technicians, interns, and volunteers ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Participate in departmental meetings and committees. Serve as a medication therapy resource, providing drug information, staff training, and supporting transitions of care. Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness based on patient condition and promote safety and efficiency in medication use. Assess, monitor, initiate, and modify medication therapies, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Counsel patients and educate staff on medication use and safety. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; Doctorate preferred. Less than 2 years of experience; 2-5 years preferred. Licensed as RPh and in Medication Therapy Services in MO.
