Required Skills:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Proven experience in operating room or perioperative nursing
• Strong organizational and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively delegate, lead, and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• Good judgment and self-direction in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Certification in a clinical specialty area (e.g., CNOR, Advanced Perioperative Certification)
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency in documentation systems
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in perioperative care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Prior experience in operating room settings, particularly in surgical or inpatient units

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work day shift (8 hours) in a high-demand environment
• Physical ability to perform heavy work, including lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Commitment to maintaining patient safety and infection control standards
• Must adhere to OSHA guidelines and hospital policies regarding infectious and hazardous materials
