Salary Range: $63,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule shop personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
• Train and mentor shop employees on safety procedures, equipment operation, and quality standards.
• Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective procurement.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including welding, fabrication, and machining.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, and supervising a team of skilled tradespeople.
• Proficient in maintaining production schedules, quality control, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software for reviewing designs.
• Ability to train and mentor junior technicians.
• Certification in a specialized manufacturing process (e.g., welding, CNC operation).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of implementing process improvements.
