But to us, financial dreams and goals are serious business.Job Summary:The Senior Business Lending Relationship manager drives new business growth through proactive prospecting and relationship development, originating commercial real estate and business loans to meet member and organizational goals. Delivers tailored financing solutions aligned with member needs. Structures and underwrites loans by gathering and analyzing financial information, assessing credit risk, and recommending appropriate loan terms. Manages an ongoing portfolio of member business loans, with accountability for portfolio quality, profitability, and performance.For a detailed description of job responsibilities, please view the attached job description.Key Qualifications:Demonstrated success in business development, including cultivating new relationships and expanding existing commercial portfoliosAbility to achieve production expectations through proactive sourcing effortsStrong financial and credit analysis skills, including the ability to analyze tax returns, financial statements, and cash flowExperience structuring and underwriting commercial real estate and business loans, including lines of credit and term financingAbility to manage complex lending relationships and maintain a high-performing portfolio Knowledge of commercial lending practices, risk assessment, and regulatory requirementsStrong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work cross- functionallyAbility to balance multiple priorities, manage deadlines, and exercise sound judgment in decision-makingCommitment to staying informed on industry trends and market conditions that impact commercial lendingEducation/Experience:A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field and five to eight years of progressive commercial lending or related experience with a financial institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.SESLOC has a collegial, team focused work environment.
