Schedule: Part-Time, Flexible 3 visits per month (Weekdays)

Compensation: $1,200 guaranteed per day/visit

Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is a family-owned healthcare organization with more than 25 years of experience delivering on-site optometry, dentistry, podiatry, audiology, and other services to senior communities nationwide. We provide all equipment, supplies, scheduling, and support—allowing you to focus entirely on patient care.

CMC is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Optometrist to provide routine eye care services across two established partner facilities in Wilkes‑Barre and Minersville, PA . This role offers predictable monthly scheduling, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on local senior communities.

This is a travel-friendly role ideal for an OD seeking supplemental, high-rate per-diem work with consistent monthly coverage.

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide care within Geisinger-affiliated outpatient settings. You'll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused environment serving senior populations.

We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing, and logistics — allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality vision care.

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments

• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice

• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations

• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team

• Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting

This is not a high-volume, production-focused model.

Our optometrists are integrated into established clinic environments and represent Comprehensive Mobile Care directly within each partner location.

• Active Pennsylvania optometry license

• Willingness to travel between Wilkes‑Barre and Minersville

• Part Time (3 visits per month total)

  • Wilkes‑Barre: 2 visits/month

  • Minersville: 1 visit/month

• Typical hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm

• No nights

• No weekends
