Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance.

Assignment Details

• 5x8 schedule.
• Home visits with periodic office meetings.

Location Highlights

Shelton offers convenient access to both outdoor recreation and major Connecticut destinations. The city is about 15 miles from downtown New Haven and is near Beardsley Zoo and the PEZ Visitor Center in Orange. Indian Well State Park is located in Shelton and features wooded trails and a waterfall area, while Silver Sands State Park in Milford is about 20 miles away on Long Island Sound. Shelton also provides access to the Route 8 corridor and the Merritt Parkway, which supports commuting to Bridgeport, Stamford, and other parts of Fairfield and New Haven Counties.
