As a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, your daily tasks will revolve around delivering personalized mental health care. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that align with their specific needs, goals, and preferences.

  • Implementing evidence-based interventions, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

  • Providing educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families regarding treatment options and effective coping strategies.

  • Regularly tracking and evaluating client progress throughout the therapeutic journey, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

  • Collaborating with psychiatrists and various healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic treatment approach for clients.

  • Staying informed on emerging research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our center emphasizes a patient-centered approach, ensuring you will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with a unique story and set of challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following qualifications:

  • A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or Psychologist within the state of Texas.
  • \n
  • Strong familiarity with evidence-based mood disorder treatment modalities, primarily CBT and DBT.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles and effective collaboration skills with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members.
  • \n
  • Proven experience in successfully treating mood disorders, demonstrating a results-oriented approach.
  • \n
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fostering rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in telehealth counseling and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems may enhance your candidacy. A history of working in outpatient mental health settings and a passion for continued professional development are additional attributes we value.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary of USD 90,000 – 105,000 , complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include:
