Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Onsite | Weekend availability required to meet staffing needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit serving a high-risk OB and culturally diverse patient population
• Circulate on cesarean section procedures as requiredFloat within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing demands
• Manage an average daily census of 15–20 patients across an 11-room, 15-bed unit
• Commit to working assigned holidays as required per contract terms

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California RN state license (compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)
• Weekend availability required
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted (maximum 7 days RTO)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Postpartum nursing experience strongly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are also encouraged to apply
