Job Overview

Right at Home is seeking a compassionate, dependable Live-In Caregiver to provide ongoing care for an elderly male client in Corpus christi, TX . We are looking for someone who is able to live in the client's home and provide daily support while helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment.

The client uses a wheelchair, she cannot ambulate independently, has no memory impairments, and enjoys a consistent daily routine. Your role will be to ensure his safety, dignity, and overall well-being while assisting with his personal care and daily needs.

Position Details

• Live-in position (caregiver will reside in the client's home)

• Private living accommodations provided

• Additional time off and schedule details will be discussed during the interview

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide full transfer assistance

• Assist with urinal use and brief/incontinence changes

• Assist with bathing (shower chair and handheld shower available)

• Help with daily personal care routines

• Light housekeeping, including laundry and tidying up

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Coordinate care with the hospice team as needed

• Monitor the client's comfort and safety throughout the day

Requirements

• CNA certification preferred; relevant caregiving experience required

• Experience working alongside hospice teams is a plus

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Ability to live in the client's home and provide consistent care

• Ability to pass a national background check and drug screening

• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
