Job Purpose

This position is Sr. DataStage Consultant with strong knowledge to be able to support analysis and development needs in an environment of DataStage, DB2, Control-M applications. This position is responsible for business and functional requirement analysis, systems analysis and developing technical solutions aligning to application architecture recommendations; Acting as subject matter expert (SME) post go-live period.

Required Job Qualifications

•Bachelor Degree and 5 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 7 year Information Technology experience OR 9 years Information Technology experience.

•Experience in application and/or product feature design.

•Experience in application configuration

•Experience in integration technologies(IBM infosphere DataStage and Quality Stage, IBM IIDR)

•Experience in Unix Shell scripting.

•Experience in SQL, DB2 (LUW & Zos) and Teradata.

•Experience in JSON, XML.

•Experience in Scheduling tools(Control M, Zena).

•Experience in DevOps and/or continuous deployment and/or integration process and tools (Urban code, jenkins, Git, Jira, Service Now etc).

•Experience in iterative and/or agile and/or scrum development.

•Application domain knowledge.

•Prototyping.

•Problem solving / analytical thinking.

•Teamwork and collaboration.

Preferred Job Qualifications

•Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

•Product-specific application architecture.

•Ability to tie together solutions across systems.
