Glass Swiper & Packaging Associate
PrideStaff is excited to recruit for a top local manufacturing facility in Cincinnati! We're looking for a detail-oriented Glass Swiper & Packaging Associate to join the team. This is an active, essential role where your work ensures high-quality products move safely off the line and into customer hands.
You'll work directly at the end of the line, retrieving prepped glass off the sander belt, wiping surfaces clean, and securely packaging items for shipping.
- Retrieve from Belt: Catch, pull, and offload processed glass panels safely as they exit the sander belt and finishing conveyors.
- Prep & Wipe: Manually wipe, pre-treat, and swipe glass surfaces using specialized cleaning solutions and lint-free materials to remove dust and belt residue.
- Quality Inspection: Carefully inspect raw and sanded glass for surface scratches, chipped edges, or air bubbles.
- Package & Protect: Wrap, stack, corner-protect, and box finished glass products securely following strict packaging guidelines to prevent shipping damage.
- Line Support: Work closely with line operators to maintain a smooth, steady workflow at the end of the belt.
What You Bring:
- High attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, line offloading, or packaging is a plus (willing to train candidates with a strong work ethic!).
- Ability to safely pull items off a moving sander belt and lift up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Comfort working with required Personal Protective Equipment (cut-resistant gloves and safety glasses mandatory).
- Great attendance record and a positive team attitude
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.00 - $20.00
