Job Description
TITLE
Nursing - PACU

SCHEDULE
- 8- or 10-hour shifts with varied hours: examples include start times at 0800, 0830, 0930, 1130.
- On-call hours: Typically 2-3 calls over a 4-week schedule which may include the weekend.
- Weekday shifts: 2000 - 0645.
- Saturday shifts: 07 - 0700.
- Weekend shifts: Friday 2000 - 0700 / Sunday 07 - 0645.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- Contract Length: 10-12 weeks.
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified.

REQUIREMENTS
- Active nursing license.
- Experience in PACU or similar specialty preferred.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and manage pain control.
- Assess patients' progress and document responses to interventions.
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams and provide updates on patient status.
- Ensure safe patient transitions from PACU to inpatient units or discharge.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Additional requirements may include background checks and drug screens.
- Specific dress code and logistics will be determined by the facility.
