Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled nursing professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.Schedule and HoursStart Date: October 4Schedule: Every MondayShift: 12 hours, 7 AM - 7:30 PMWeekend Requirement: Every other weekendHoliday Requirement: As neededFloating Requirement: May float to Glenbrook, Skokie, or Highland ParkKey ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality patient care in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting.Maintain a nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-5 within a 29-bed unit.Manage common diagnoses including Neurosurgery, Urology, Orthopedic, Surgical overflow, and Telemetry/Medsurg.Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and collaborate with healthcare teams.Record and monitor patient progress and provide patient education.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.Possession of a valid RN license in Illinois.Current certifications in CPR and ACLS.Experience with Epic electronic health records is preferred.Completion of a passed EKG test with an 80% score or higher is required.New graduates will not be considered for this position.This is a 12-week contract position with non-billable orientation hours totaling 16.
