SHIFT OPPORTUNITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Morning Openers (Must be 18+)

• Arrive early to open the store, turn on equipment, and set up the kitchen for daily operations

• Bake fresh bread, complete all morning prep work, and slice meats and cheeses so the store is fully ready for lunch

• Maintain strict food safety standards, operational readiness, and clean/stock stations as you go

Daytime Team Members

• Craft signature cold subs and hot cheesesteaks "The Mike's Way" during high-volume lunch rushes

• Deliver elite guest service, welcome every customer with a genuine smile, and keep line stations clean and stocked throughout the shift

Evening & Closing Team Members

• Craft signature cold subs and hot cheesesteaks "The Mike's Way" while keeping stations clean and stocked throughout the shift

• Execute end-of-day kitchen teardown, thoroughly clean and sanitize equipment, and prep the store for the next morning

Shift Leaders & Managers in Training (Must be 18+)

• Shift Leadership & Operations: Proactively lead, staff, and run shifts of 15–20 team members in the absence of the Store Manager—overseeing all daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations

• Guest Experience & Hospitality: Deliver elite customer service and ensure team members engage with guests to understand their needs, exceed expectations, and create memorable visits

• Team Coaching & Development: Coach, mentor, and train staff to maintain high performance while actively recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments to build a positive work culture

• Standards, Safety & Quality: Maintain strict food safety standards, exceptional sub quality ("The Mike's Way"), employee safety, and overall restaurant cleanliness inside and out

• Accountability & Business Goals: Hold the team accountable to company policies, core values, and our non-negotiables while supporting labor control, cash management, and inventory goals

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Age Requirements:

  • 16+ to apply for Team Member roles

  • 18+ required to open the store, operate slicers/equipment, and fill Shift Leader / Management roles (per federal law and store operations)

• Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekend availability (Saturdays or Sundays) to support peak store hours

• Attitude: Friendly, dependable, punctual, and excited to work in a fast-paced environment

• Customer Service: Strong communication skills and pride in serving great food to great people

• Experience: No restaurant experience required! We provide full paid training to help you succeed.
