GTRI seeks a skilled Generative AI Solutions Developer to enhance business processes. Responsibilities include developing abstract summary analysis algorithms, chatbot-based knowledge tools, and code assistance tools for GTRI developers.

The Georgia Tech Research Institute(GTRI) Enterprise Systems Department is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Generative AI Solutions Developer to join our dynamic team of innovators in driving advancements in artificial intelligence. As an Affiliate, you will be responsible for creating innovative, generative AI solutions to enhance and improve business processes and knowledge management at GTRI. This position will involve developing abstract summary analysis algorithms, implementing chatbot-based knowledge management tools, and building code assistance tools for developers within GTRI. The selected candidate must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Collaborate with researchers, faculty, and IT professionals to identify areas where AI solutions can significantly enhance business processes and research data analysis.
• Develop and implement generative AI algorithms for abstract summary analysis of contracts, proposals, or other technical papers, capturing key insights to aid staff in their work.
• Design and deploy chatbot-based knowledge management systems that provide user-friendly access to vast amounts of organizational knowledge.
• Create code assistance tools leveraging AI to optimize programming productivity, with a focus on meeting the specific needs of researchers and developers.
• Continuously assess and enhance AI solutions based on user feedback, emerging technologies, and industry advancements.
• Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of AI solutions to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing research infrastructure and maximize their impact organization-wide.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and research in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing, and incorporate relevant findings into solution development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proven professional experience in AI solution development, with a strong emphasis on natural language processing, machine learning, and generative models.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar, with experience in utilizing relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, NLTK).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate complex research data and requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams, researchers, and faculty.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results within established timelines.
