Substation Engineer

Full Time Substation Engineer

We are looking for a full time Substation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of high voltages, utility engineering, and T&D substations. Experience working in a substation environment is preferred.

The primary responsibility of the Substation Engineer will be to design, install, and maintain substation equipment. This includes substation transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and other electrical equipment. The Substation Engineer will also be responsible for performing electrical testing and commissioning of new substation equipment.

The Substation Engineer will work closely with other members of the engineering team, as well as with construction crews and substation operators. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field

• 1-3 years of experience working in a substation environment
• Strong understanding of high voltages, utility engineering, and T&D substations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
