Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• BLS Certification
• General and vascular ultrasound experience

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1800-0630
• Schedule includes every other weekend and holiday rotation with hospital staff.
• Call rotation on Friday and Saturday nights on a 4-5 week rotation.
• Documentation system: Meditech.
• Equipment used: GE Logic E10.
• Patient experience requirement: AIDET.
• Procedures performed include paracentesis, thoracentesis, thyroid biopsies, and general and vascular ultrasounds.
• Required uniform color: Slate Gray.
