Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a short-term acute care, teaching facility
• Monitor and manage patients requiring cardiac drip administration and hemodynamic oversight
• Float to additional hospital campuses within the health system as needed to meet facility staffing demands
• Complete time-sensitive onboarding modules prior to and during the assignment as required by the facility
• Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner using the Epic electronic health record system
• Participate in EKG and pharmacology competency testing during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of PCU experience; ICU experience also required
• Active RN license (pending license accepted)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submittal; no pending certifications accepted
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Epic proficiency rating of 3 or 4 required
• Familiarity with cardiac drips required
• Must be nicotine free; negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine required within 12 months of start
• Must pass EKG and pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum; no remediation)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of PCU/stepdown experience in an acute care setting
• Prior experience floating across multiple hospital campuses within a health system
• Familiarity with SilkRoad for module tracking and compliance
