Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Garrison, North Dakota. This role involves acting as charge nurse, passing medications, and performing wound care in a long-term care setting. The position requires night shifts and offers an opportunity to provide quality patient care in a supportive environment. Job Details Certifications: BLS Certification required. Education and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of LTC experience. Location Requirements: No specific location requirements beyond the facility's setting. Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. Other Qualifications: Candidates must have a valid license to submit. Additional Information: No IVs or titratable drips are involved. Care is provided to patients with diagnoses such as heart disease, diabetes, and dementia. RN reads strips but none are required for their role. No interdisciplinary team involvement, only LTC staff. On-call physician availability after hours by phone. No floating required. Dress code: must be clean and presentable. Orientation: 2-3 shifts specific to the unit. RTO (Request for Time Off) needed upfront, with a maximum of 7 days within a 13-week contract. Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organization. The facility utilizes MatrixCare/MatrixBSN for charting. Cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
