Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2190 per week.

Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Great River Health System (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Self-study of telemetry strips upon acceptance is required. A basic dysrhythmia test-out will be given the first week of assignment and must be passed to work on the Telemetry/Med Surg unit.

Unit Details: Cares for geriatric, adult, medical/surgical, and telemetry patients. Telemetry ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling: Not part of a regular call rotation, but may occasionally be placed on call during low census. If called in, must be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.

Floating Requirements: Floating to ACU is required for non-critical care inpatient units, including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or the alternative certification MAB
