About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Preferred), CNOR (Preferred) Must-Have: Ability to float to like units if needed Description: Operating Room Registered Nurse needed. Candidates must have an active Registered Nurse license for auto offer. The assignment length is 13 weeks. Shift will be a 3x12 daytime schedule with varying start times. Years of experience required is 2. First-time travelers will not be accepted. On-call requirements are limited to coverage for call-offs only. Weekend shifts will be required. Guaranteed hours are 60 hours per 2 weeks. Travelers may be called off for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks. The facility is an acute hospital with a total of 407 staffed beds. It is a Magnet facility and a Level II trauma center. Patient diagnoses will include trauma, ortho, neuro, pediatrics, and more. Interdisciplinary support is provided by various teams including radiology and pharmacy. Special procedures performed include bariatric surgery, neuro, and urology. Travelers must be flexible in scheduling and willing to work major holidays. Housing options should be considered as they may be limited. Candidates will float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed. References are required covering one year of experience within the last three years. Candidates must meet all health compliance requirements as mandated. All time-off requests will be considered on an individual basis. Work-related communication devices will be provided by the client at no cost. Modules for training will be necessary prior to the start of the assignment.
