LMS Technical Support Specialist

Job Description

Schedule:

Full-time technical support should be available throughout active academic sessions. Coverage must support students and instructors during online instructional periods, including evening classes.

Summary:

The LMS Technical Support Specialist will maintain reliable student and instructor access to the online learning environment and resolve technology problems that could interfere with instruction.

Requirements:

Must have experience supporting Learning Management Systems or online learning platforms.
Must be capable of troubleshooting account, access, and course-delivery issues.
Must understand online course and user-account administration.
Must comply with applicable information-security and privacy requirements.

Duties:

Maintain student and instructor access to the LMS.
Troubleshoot technical problems affecting online instruction.
Verify courses and instructional materials are accessible before sessions begin.
Track and escalate unresolved technical issues when necessary.
