PLS was founded in 1997 by Bob and Dan Wolfberg, who serve as Co-Presidents.Position Overview: Successful Motor Vehicle Store Managers are responsible for providing leadership to ensure the store delivers outstanding customer service, meets all operating objectives, sales, and financial goals, and follows company policies and procedures. The Store Manager is also responsible for ensuring store employees are properly motivated and trained and that qualified replacements are developed and ready to fill open positions.Job Responsibilities:Maintaining exemplary customer service within the store and establishing special business relationships with our customers so they will choose to do business with us rather than our competitorsImplementing strategies to help meet store goals and objectivesRecruiting, developing, and motivating store employees who exceed internal and external customer expectationsEnsuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsProviding service to customers in obtaining motor vehicle titles, registrations, permits, and any other motor vehicle servicesAbility to learn and apply Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Department "ADOT MVD" rules, regulations, processes, and proceduresEstablishing a strong customer service/selling culture to maximize salesSupervising CSR activities, including but not limited to transaction processing, maintenance of cash drawers, and cash handling proceduresCoaching and developing assistant managers and shift supervisors in accordance with career development plans set by District ManagerMarketing within your community to increase market share and store revenuesResolving customer complaints to increase customer satisfactionControlling labor hours, cash, store audits, and shrinkageHelping maintain a neat and clean store environment for our customers and employeesOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:A minimum of two years of management experienceA vehicle, valid driver's license, and current proof-of-insurance record must be in good standingHigh school diploma or GED equivalentKnowledge of level 1 inspection, vehicle registration and renewal, and other motor vehicle services.Ability, willingness, and comfort to engage with customersAbility to develop positive relationships with internal and external customersStrong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a teamHigh-energy, collaborative leadership expertiseProfessional appearance and demeanorSuperior verbal and written communication, and presentation skillsEnglish/Spanish bilingual is a plusWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift 5-10 lbs. with little assistanceMust be able to work in restrictive spacesMust manage a number of projects at one time and handle frequent interruptions to meet the needs and requests of customersBenefits for eligible employees include medical/dental/vision, 401k, vacation, opportunities for advancement, ongoing training available.This position is bonus eligibleWe strive to demonstrate our Core Values in all positions at PLS: Communication Customer Focus Integrity and Trust Teamwork ResultsPLS Financial Services is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
