Obstetrician Gynecologist Hospitalist Opportunity
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is actively looking for a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN Hospitalist to join our team at a prominent hospital in Lower Manhattan. This role will be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in-house obstetrical coverage and oversee clinical care for patients on the labor floor.
- Supervise and manage care for antepartum and postpartum inpatients.
- Oversee gynecologic consultations, including cases that may require surgical intervention.
- Act as the Attending for Physician Assistants.
- Engage in continuing medical education and contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives.
The salary for this position is competitive and based on qualifications and experience, with a base salary range starting at $275,000. This package includes excellent benefits, relocation assistance, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications- A medical degree is required.
- Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Board eligibility or certification in obstetrics and gynecology is necessary.
- A valid New York State Medical License must be obtained or already held.
- A strong commitment to excellence in patient care and teaching is essential.

We prioritize comfort and care for both parents and newborns, with our skilled physicians collaborating closely with anesthesiologists to offer the best pain management options for expectant mothers. Annually, we deliver around 2,000 newborns.
