Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Cath Lab Tech - 4x10-Hour Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30. Weekend, overnight, and holiday call required.

The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will join a supportive unit that welcomes first-time travelers, ensuring a high standard of patient care and medical procedure execution.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic catheterizations and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during procedures.
• Set up equipment and ensure all necessary tools are ready for use.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Assist in the placement and removal of IABP and other cardiac devices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• ARRT or CCI (RCIS) certification required.
• Experience with Pyxis and Epic charting systems is preferred.
