Eye Surgeons Associates is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to be the first point of contact with our patients making it an important patient relations position.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome and assist patients through the check-in/check-out process while maintaining a warm, professional environmentProcess payments, including insurance co-payments and other charges with accuracy and attention to detailManage appointment scheduling, including coordinating with clinical staff and handling schedule changesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMedical office experience preferredProven track record of outstanding customer serviceDemonstrate ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detailSelf-motivated with flexibility to adapt to changing prioritiesBeing bilingual a plusRequirementsStrict adherence to patient confidentiality protocols and HIPAA regulationsAbility to work at multiple Eye Surgeons Associates locations as neededStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in medical office software and basic computer applicationsOffice hours: 40 hours per week - Monday-Thursday 7:15 to 5pm and Friday 7:15am-12pmFull Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Supplemental Plans, PTO and 401K
