At Bay Animal Hospital, we provide high-quality medical care to our patients and exceptional service to their owners. We are looking for an empathetic, organized, and high-energy Veterinary Receptionist to serve as the face and voice of our hospital. If you love animals and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to meet you!
Responsibilities

Client Relations: Greet clients warmly, manage check-ins/check-outs, and ensure a welcoming lobby environment.
Communications: Manage a multi-line phone system, schedule wellness and emergency appointments, and manage client emails.
Patient Triage: Assess the urgency of incoming calls and walk-ins using basic veterinary medical protocols.
Financial Duties: Process invoices, take payments (cash, credit, CareCredit), and balance the daily cash drawer.
Records Management: Maintain accurate digital medical charts using Idexx Neo software.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 1+ years of medical reception, general reception, or customer service experience (Veterinary experience is a major plus!).
Skills: Exceptional communication, strong multitasking ability under pressure, and basic computer literacy.
Attributes: High emotional intelligence, professional demeanor, and a genuine love for helping people and pets.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
