Pathologists' Assistant (PA) – Laboratory
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY
Contract: 16 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Pay: $84–$94/hr
Weekends: None
Call: None
Requirements:
- Current New York State PA License or eligible to obtain by start date
- ASCP-PA Certification
- 1+ year Pathologists' Assistant experience
- Hospital clinical laboratory experience
- Epic experience
- Strong grossing and surgical pathology experience
- Frozen section cutting and staining experience
- Experience triaging fresh tissue for lymphoma workups
- Ability to identify glomeruli in renal biopsy cores
Workload:
- Approximately 200 blocks/day
- Heavy breast pathology volume
- Experience with breast, uterus, lung, and colon specimens
- High-volume surgical pathology environment
