We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and skilled Barista to join the Makers & Finders team! As part of our new location at Town Square, you will play a key role in creating an inviting atmosphere while expertly preparing and serving a wide range of high-quality coffee and espresso-based beverages and little bit food items. We're excited to expand and are looking for passionate individuals to be a part of this exciting new chapter!

Requirements:

• Previous Experience: Previous barista experience is preferred.
• Coffee Knowledge: A love for coffee and a good understanding of different coffee beans, brewing methods, and espresso-based drinks such as lattes and cappuccinos is important.
• Espresso Machine Skills: Being able to calibrate and operate espresso machines.
• Teamwork: We’re all about working together! A friendly attitude and the ability to collaborate with your team to keep things running smoothly is essential.
• Customer Service: Passion for creating a positive, friendly experience for every guest.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Keeping the coffee station, equipment, and seating areas clean, organized, and sanitized is a must to ensure our guests have the best experience.
• Latte Art (Optional): If you can make beautiful latte art, that’s a huge bonus!
• Attention to Detail: A great barista knows that small details matter! We’re looking for someone who takes pride in crafting drinks exactly how our guests like them, ensuring the highest quality every time.
• Cash Handling: You’ll be handling cash and using a POS system, so accuracy in processing orders and giving correct change is important.
• Health Code: Possesses a strong understanding of health codes and the critical importance of adhering to safe food handling practices.

• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Basic knowledge of coffee is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency..
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• A friendly, outgoing personality with a strong desire to engage with guests and create memorable experiences.
• You’ll need to be comfortable standing and walking for long periods and able to lift up to 25 lbs.
