Base pay range $25.00/hr - $29.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Net2Source (N2S) Position Details Location: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 Duration: 6 Months Pay Rate: $28 - $29 /hr. on W2 Shift: M-F 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Typical Responsibilities Perform Rack & Stack and cabling between cabinets on servers and network assets in a data center. Install, test, label, and dress fiber and copper cabling. Terminate copper cables. Reboot devices and have general familiarity with server operations. Use a Fluke cable tester (highly preferred). Work physically on ladders up to 12 feet high, routing cables in overhead trays. Lift and install devices weighing over 50 lbs. using a server lift and team efforts. Communicate effectively and professionally during troubleshooting calls or client interactions. Work independently and in a team within a fast-paced data center environment. Experience & Education At least 2+ years of experience working in a data center (leadership experience may not be suitable). High School Diploma. Skills & Certifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams). Teachability and a positive attitude are highly valued. Preferred Skills Additional certifications or outside accreditations. Experience with DCIM software. Experience with Fluke cable testers. Relevant tenure and hands-on experience. Interview Process: One virtual round, with a second round if needed.
