#1 In Home Care is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to serve clients throughout the greater New Orleans and St. John the Baptist area. We offer competitive pay and group benefits, with flexible shift options across multiple locations.

Employment Type: PRN (as-needed)

Open Positions1. In-Home PRN Caregivers – New Orleans, LA

Schedule: Monday–Sunday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.

Requirements:

• Reliable, compassionate, and punctual

2. In-Home Caregiver – Gretna, LA

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Friday–Saturday: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Provide care for a client with Dementia/Alzheimer's
• Safely operate a Hoyer lift
• Transport client to appointments

Requirements:

• Experience caring for clients with Dementia/Alzheimer's
• Experience with Hoyer lift transfers
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle to transport client to appointments
• Reliable, compassionate, and punctual

3. In-Home Caregiver – Reserve, LA

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Monday

• 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. (12-hour shifts), or
• 7:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. (6-hour shifts)

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-home caregiving support
• Transport client to dialysis appointments on Mondays

Requirements:

• Must have a reliable personal vehicle
• Valid driver's license and insurance
• Comfortable transporting clients to medical appointments
