Key Responsibilities

• Design and support transportation infrastructure projects including roadways, intersections, highways, bridges, and multimodal facilities.
  
  
• Perform roadway design, traffic analysis, corridor studies, and transportation planning.
  
  
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, technical reports, cost estimates, and construction documents.
  
  
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Synchro, HCS, and similar software.
  
  
• Coordinate with civil, structural, environmental, survey, and planning teams.
  
  
• Support or manage project schedules, budgets, scopes, and deliverables.
  
  
• Communicate with clients, municipalities, DOT agencies, and regulatory organizations.
  
  
• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, proposals, and business development.
  
  
• Mentor junior engineering staff.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  
  
• EIT certification or PE license (or ability to obtain).
  
  
• 2-10+ years of transportation engineering experience.
  
  
• Experience with roadway design, traffic engineering, transportation planning, or municipal infrastructure.
  
  
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Synchro, HCS, or similar software.
  
  
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Interest in project management or leadership.
