About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Birthing Unit Duration: Full-time Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12-hour shifts and 8-hour shifts Experience: 2 years, circulating experience required License: Active nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, recent EFM (at least intermediate) required Must-Have: Circulating experience, required certifications Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Birthing Unit. Candidates can choose to work either 40 or 36 hours per week. The 36-hour shift consists of three 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The 40-hour shift consists of two 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and two 8-hour shifts. A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required, with a focus on circulating experience. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, NRP, and a recent intermediate EFM certification. Preferred certifications include Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics, Perinatal NCC Certifications (Client Newborn Nursing - Level I and Postpartum or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing - Labor and Birth), and First Latch (breastfeeding certification).
