Job Description – General Labor / Grinding & Cleaning

Pay: $17.00/hour

Shift Options:

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Position Summary

WorkSolved Staffing is currently hiring dependable and hardworking General Labor / Grinding & Cleaning associates for a manufacturing and metal casting facility in the Grand Rapids area. This position involves finishing and cleaning large metal castings using hand tools, grinders, and other industrial equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Grind, clean, and finish metal castings

• Remove excess metal, burrs, and rough edges from parts

• Inspect castings for defects or imperfections

• Use hand grinders, air tools, and other production equipment safely

• Assist with material handling and movement of castings

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Follow all plant safety procedures and PPE requirements

• Perform general labor duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred but not required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently

• Comfortable working in a foundry/manufacturing environment

• Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical work throughout shift

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Willingness to work overtime when needed
