Production Print Sales Executive

Job Description Production Print Sales Executive Position Profile The Production Print Executive (PPE) is directly responsible for selling the full suite of Ricoh's solutions portfolio, including Hardware, Software, and Professional Services to both Graphic Communications/Commercial Print accounts and Enterprise accounts. The PPE will sell into a pre-defined account base consisting of medium and large commercial print, direct mail, fulfillment centers, graphic arts accounts, and corporate Enterprise accounts. The role focuses on growing Ricoh's market share within the assigned geographic territory. Job Duties and Responsibilities Lead RICOH's penetration and expansion in assigned geographic territory and accounts, developing a targeted customer strategy including segmentation, customer awareness activities, and relationship building. Acquire new business by aligning customers' business goals and objectives with Ricoh's solutions portfolio, including hardware and services. Develop strategies to penetrate zero-based account opportunities, including reference selling. Manage, protect, and develop the territory base by analyzing and developing solutions for new and existing customer communication requirements, supporting strategies, products, and equipment within the territory. Acquire and grow the client base by selling incremental solutions and services within new base accounts. Meet or exceed gross profit expectations within the assigned territory. Prepare and present benchmark demonstrations, proposals, and value propositions within account assignments, utilizing product and/or technical resources as needed. Retain and grow the current client base by selling incremental solutions and services within existing accounts and through customer satisfaction. Act as account manager, owning resolution of any ongoing issues within an account within the assignment, leveraging local, regional, and national resources. Maintain records of all account activity within Ricoh's sales database and CRM tool, serving as first line of contact for client paperwork. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 4‑year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Minimum of five years business‑to‑business sales experience, with 2 years of advanced selling assignments. Minimum of two years digital printing and solutions sales experience. Preferred: 5‑7 years successful track record in capital equipment sales in the digital printing solutions and/or graphic communications industry. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proven skill in developing new business markets and opportunities. Comprehensive knowledge of graphics arts, print‑for‑pay, and commercial print industries. Deep knowledge of technology, connectivity, and selling complex solutions. In‑depth knowledge of sales methodologies and processes. Strong negotiation, written and oral communication, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal, time‑management, and self‑motivational skills. Ability to work successfully with diverse teams. Ability to develop and foster key relationships with contacts outside of the sales function to formulate successful account strategies. Capability to communicate across multiple levels of personnel within an account, including financial, technical, and senior management. Ability to manage order, delivery, and implementation processes. Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level. Experience cyclical stress due to frequent goals and deadlines and daily stress from responsibilities associated with decisions and outcomes. Minor physical effort required, involving long periods of walking, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, lifting or carrying objects generally less than 10 lbs. Requires moderate dexterity with regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools). Requires daily customer site visits, possibly to facilities not accessible by public transportation, and may require overnight travel depending on assigned territory.
