MRI Technologist

We are seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under the supervision of radiologists, including Cardiac MRI, Interoperative MRI, and invasive procedures. Key Responsibilities Include Conducting MRI examinations with a focus on safety, image quality, and patient assessment. Assessing anatomy, recognizing abnormalities, and communicating technical information effectively. Ensuring departmental policies, safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards are followed. Accurately documenting procedures, utilizing hospital systems, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Providing age-appropriate, specialized, and high-risk patient care, including restraint and pain management as needed. Delivering excellent customer service, maintaining a professional appearance, and fostering teamwork. Participating in continuing education, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings. Qualifications High school diploma or higher; ARRT-MR certification or eligible, with a 12-month window for certification if applicable. 1-3 years MRI experience preferred, especially in trauma or academic settings. Current BLS and ARRT certifications required. Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for long periods, and transfer patients.
