About the Role:
Stony MFG is looking for a skilled Machine Parts Deburr Specialist to join our manufacturing team in Elma, NY. This is a hands-on role where precision and quality are at the heart of everything you do. Responsibilities:

• Perform deburring, finishing, and edge-breaking on machined metal parts to meet quality specifications
• Use hand tools, files, abrasives, and deburring equipment to remove burrs and sharp edges
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to dimensional and surface finish requirements
• Operate bench grinders, rotary tools, and other mechanical deburring equipment as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and part drawings
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with shop standards
• Communicate quality issues or defects to supervisors and quality control personnel

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing, machining, or metal fabrication environment preferred
• Familiarity with deburring techniques, hand tools, and finishing equipment
• Ability to read basic blueprints and work orders
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented shop environment
• High school diploma or GED preferred
