Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide expert care in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery settings. This contract position offers flexibility with shifts and opportunities for additional hours.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum care, and neonatal care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
• Assist with scrubbing for procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current WA nursing license or multi-state license with verified demographics via Nursys.
• Possess BLS and NRP certification; STABLE preferred but not required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Neonatal Care.
• Exhibit competence in using Meditech systems (helpful but not mandatory).
• Complete approved 6-hour suicide training.
