Weed Man Lawn Care in Richmond, VA is seeking motivated Lawn Care Technicians to join our growing team. No prior lawn care experience? No problem! We provide paid training and the tools you need to succeed.

Compensation
Average earnings: $21–$25 per hour
Our compensation package includes:

• Production-based pay
• Performance bonuses
• Uncapped commission opportunities
• An hourly minimum base of $19 to account for production decreases

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday–Friday
• Occasional Saturdays used as make-up days
• During peak season, additional Saturday work may be required

The Role:
As a Lawn Care Technician, you will:

• Provide professional lawn care treatments, including fertilization, weed control, aeration, seeding, and pest management services
• Perform lawn evaluations and identify customer needs
• Educate customers on lawn health and recommend additional services
• Generate field sales opportunities and earn additional commission
• Safely handle and apply lawn care products and operate company equipment
• Drive company vehicles and complete daily vehicle/equipment inspections
• Maintain accurate service records and required paperwork
• Deliver exceptional customer service while communicating effectively with customers and team members

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and provide employment eligibility documentation
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Available to work full-time, including occasional Saturdays during peak season
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Receptive to coaching and committed to following company policies and safety standards
