Travel CVOR Surgical Tech – Sacramento, CA

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Sacramento, California. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced cardiovascular surgery team and work alongside highly skilled surgeons and clinical staff.

Assignment Details

• Location: Sacramento, CA
• Start Date: 07/07/2026
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 10-Hour Varied Day Shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields.
• Assist with CABG, valve surgeries, and other open-heart procedures.
• Ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams to provide high-quality patient care.
• Monitor and maintain surgical equipment during procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR Surgical Tech experience.
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through NBSTSA.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.
• NIHSS preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret EKG strips.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures.
