Role Overview

NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled AMS L2/L3 Support Engineer with strong expertise in EDI/B2B integration to support and maintain enterprise integration landscapes. The role involves incident management, problem resolution, system monitoring, and continuous improvement of EDI interfaces and related infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in EDI systems, strong ITIL process adherence, and the ability to ensure high availability and performance of business-critical integrations.

Key Responsibilities

L2/L3 Support & Operations

• Provide L2/L3 support for EDI/B2B integration platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within defined SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
• Support production deployments, releases, and change management activities .

Integration & Interface Management

• Monitor and manage EDI interfaces, B2B transactions, and communication flows .
• Ensure smooth functioning of interface operations and message processing .
• Handle partner onboarding support and communication validations .

Monitoring & Alerting

• Proactively monitor systems using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Respond to alerts, investigate anomalies, and minimize service disruptions.

Platform & Technical Support

• Work on SEEBURGER BIS platform (Mandatory) for troubleshooting and configuration.
• Support integrations involving RVS communication protocols .
• Perform system-level analysis on Unix/Linux environments .
• Handle database queries and support on MS SQL Server .

ITIL & Process Compliance

• Adhere to ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request management.
• Maintain proper documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in audits, reviews, and compliance activities.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization .
• Improve system performance, reliability, and monitoring coverage.
• Support knowledge transfer and mentoring of junior team members.

Required Skills & Expertise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• ITIL certification preferred.
• Relevant certifications in EDI/B2B or SEEBURGER BIS are an advantage.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a multi-incident environment .
• Proactive and customer-focused mindset.
