Class A CDL Local Truck Driver

Job Description

The Semi Local Truck Driver is responsible for safely picking up and transporting used tires over local routes while working as part of a driving team. This role emphasizes adherence to safety regulations, proper vehicle maintenance, and excellent customer interaction to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. A day in this job requires starting at our Trenton location with daily pick up of used tires from multiple customers with same day return to the Trenton location. This is a Monday thru Friday position with occasional Saturday pick up or delivery. Must live with driving distance of Trenton, FL with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Conduct local pick up of tires on established routes
Perform thorough vehicle inspections prior to and after trips
Secure loads to prevent damage during transportation
Comply with all safety and transportation regulations
Complete and maintain accurate delivery documentation
Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
Engage professionally with customers during deliveries

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience in commercial truck driving
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
