After the physical therapist has completed the initial evaluation, established functional goals and developed an individualized plan of care, the physical therapist assistant provides preventative instruction and rehabilitation of acute or prolonged dysfunction or pain with an emphasis on movement; therapeutic application or physical and chemical agents; exercise and other procedures to maximize functional independence.This is a safety sensitive position.## Qualifications**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS****:**Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education. Current Oklahoma Physical Therapist Assistant licensure and Form 5 Supervisor Confirmation required. (A temporary letter pending licensure results may be approved by Administration.) Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS****:**Hospital or outpatient experience.
