Locums | Neurology | Anderson, SC (SC license required) Why This Role

Defined coverage blocks: August and October
100% inpatient practice — no outpatient clinic
Board-eligible accepted, not only board-certified
Strong support: 5 physicians, 5 APPs in the group
Level II trauma facility

Assignment Details

Coverage dates:
Setting: Hospital-based, 100% inpatient
Volume: ~20 hospital-based patients/day
Call: Only when on-site
Patient population: adult
Group: 5 physicians + 5 APPs (locum will be sole neurologist on-site during shifts)
Onsite lab and X-ray
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: ~2 months

Clinical Details

Inpatient neurology coverage
Required procedures: lumbar puncture, thrombolytic therapy

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Active SC license
Active SC DEA
BLS
100% clean background (no exceptions)
Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation

Compensation

Rate negotiable, open to your number
Malpractice provided
Travel and lodging reimbursed
