Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our Fibrebond team in Minden, LA!

The core hours average about 54 per week from 6 am - 4:30 pm, M-F. Overtime may exceed these hours/days based on business need.

What You'll Do:

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, and distributing materials, parts, and supplies to support warehouse and production operations. This role ensures accurate inventory handling, timely material delivery, and safe operation of material‑handling equipment while following Eaton's safety, quality, and inventory control standards. In this function you will:

• Read and interpret MF and MFP work orders and related documentation
• Stock, label, pick, and dispense materials according to bills of material
• Deliver materials to production, installation areas, shipping, or corporate offices as requested
• Operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials
• Receive and unload incoming shipments
• Complete required inventory documentation and report shortages to the Warehouse Manager
• Maintain accurate material flow between warehouse, production, and shipping areas
• Assist with training of new warehouse personnel
• Perform basic housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• Forklift certification or ability to successfully complete in‑house forklift training
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Minden, LA facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior warehouse, inventory, or material‑handling experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Skills/Position Criteria:

• Basic math, computer, and communication skills
• Ability to operate a forklift and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive material‑handling tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Clear vision with or without corrective lenses
• Ability to work safely in environments with dust, fumes, grease, oil, temperature variations, and moving equipment
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel‑toed shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of trade secrets and proprietary information
