Position Highlights Location: Moose Jaw Type of position: Part‑time with call‑outs Hours: ±20 hours per week; after‑hours work may be required and must be pre‑approved by the client and ESW Core Competencies Required Clear, qualified and effective communication in both written and verbal communication with clients, co‑workers and leadership Collaboration & teamwork – working effectively with technical colleagues, leaders and client teams, and being competent working independently Adaptability – adjusting quickly to changing client demands, priorities and technologies; working efficiently under pressure and remaining calm in stressful situations Analytical and logical thinking – applying structured thinking to analyze complex problems, assess client needs, define objectives and scope solutions Strong organizational and prioritizing skills High ethical standards and trustworthiness Documentation & knowledge sharing – developing and maintaining high‑quality technical documentation to support knowledge transfer and future troubleshooting Client‑centric service orientation – consistently meeting commitments to service delivery requirements and balancing quality, timeliness and efficiency; excellent client service skills Primary Focus Assist clients by working on a variety of IT‑related projects, providing additional or back‑fill coverage when required, and providing hardware, infrastructure, and/or application support functions in the field Provide support both in person and remotely May require traveling to and working at remote sites A mobile device will be provided to ensure clients have support at all times Scope Deployment and support of hardware and/or applications Working in a team environment and performing individual duties such as clearing debris left from deployment Retrieving equipment and updating the online database with newly deployed equipment as well as old equipment Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Office365, WindowsOS, PC hardware, networking, printers, personal wireless devices (Apple and Android) and remote access technologies such as Citrix, RSA, VPN Experience supervising third‑party contractors performing IT‑related installations or maintenance Post‑secondary education in a computer‑related discipline such as a Computer Engineering Technology diploma and at least 3years of experience in a technical support role, or an appropriate combination of education and experience Certifications – CompTIA A+, Network+, and PDI+ are desirable Experience working within ticketing/tracking software Experience working with security cameras and associated hardware Point‑to‑point wireless experience, app virtualization knowledge, and system deployment knowledge Project coordination experience Telephone, fax, data, and wireless radio communications support for remote facilities and offices Network and fiber‑optic cable installation and termination experience (desirable) Client‑focused and possessing exceptional client service skills Proficient verbal and written English skills Capability to contribute in a team environment and to work independently Ability to work efficiently under pressure and remain calm in stressful circumstances Robust organizational and prioritizing skills High ethical standards and trustworthiness Logical thinking and analytical problem‑solving skills Basic vehicle maintenance skills (checking oil, tire pressure, etc.) Legal authorization to work in Canada; the company does not sponsor work permits or visas Additional Comments Required safety certifications include H2S Alive, First Aid and WHMIS; these must be obtained prior to traveling to any client field sites. Other safety certifications may be required by certain clients. Background checks and other assessments are conditions of employment. No position reports to the Desktop/Infrastructure Technician. Working Conditions Physically capable of lifting up to 70lbs. Unscheduled or after‑hours support may occasionally be required.
